Maison Skyaasen, Bourgogne Aligoté - 2022

It's an age-old tale. A Norwegian and a Californian meet in Vermont, fall in love and make exceptional hyper-small production wines in Burgundy! Organic viticulture, minimal intervention, bottled unfiltered, unfined and unsulphured. Elegance, focus, and purity define the style. Very little makes it way to the UK, even less ends up available at retail prices. I'm not trying to push the allocation game here, but we get a case, and then we play the waiting game for the next vintage. The Aligoté is new to the range this year, and you can't beat the value.
