Agricultural Fair Award Medal On Pearl Necklace

Medals such as this lovely 2" bronze design were given as awards at agricultural fairs in Europe during the 19th and 20th century. In addition to the horse and cow featured predominantly on this medal is also sheep, birds a chicken and a pig! the medal has been bezel wrapped in fine silver and suspended from a 19" necklace of hand-knotted white freshwater pearls.
