For your consideration one Mechanics Bank 25 cent fractional note war time dated Jan'y 1, 1862. A real nice piece of paper with no tears, no pin holes. Hand signed at the bottom...looks to be JB Bishops. Measures almost 4 inches long. Printed on the backs of Merchants bank $5 notes of Macon. Nice red color.
