The 2017–2026 Ford F-150 Raptor Engine Skid Plate is our front skid — stronger than the factory plate and built to shield the engine, oil pan, and the front & rear lower control-arm mounts that catch on rocks and ledges. What it protects: the oil pan and lower engine, plus the front & rear lower control-arm mounts that hang up off-road. The factory front plate is thin stamped steel that only covers the front of the engine and traps the oil filter behind five small bolts.
