Abstract Painting by Rune Kindgren – Mixed Media on Canvas, Sweden (2000)

Original abstract artwork by Swedish artist Rune Kindgren (1933–2010), signed on both the front and reverse and dated 2000. Executed in mixed media on canvas, the composition features layered textures, geometric forms, and earthy tones. The painting is sold unframed. Born in Kalmar, Sweden, Rune Kindgren initially worked as a designer and decorator before devoting himself fully to painting at the age of 46. From 1979 he was a member of KRO (The Swedish Artists’ National Organisation). During his career he received several grants and awards, including the Kalmar Municipality Cultural Prize and artist scholarships in 1986 and 1992. His work was exhibited at notable venues including Liljevalchs Konsthall in Stockholm and he was a member of the artist group Collegium Chryseatos.
