Heuchera 'Citronelle' All heucheras, or coral bells, are native to North America. All need at least some shade and well-drained soil. They are winter hardy where temperatures are mild but do require mulch. Grown primarily for their foliage, they also produce flowers on tall petioles that add height and an airy effect. Makes beautiful bed and border plants. Citronelle is valued for its bright, yellow-green leaves that mound up to about 10" and spread considerably wider. In the summer it produces small white tubular blooms on longish spires. *Deer Resistant* Photo courtesy of Toms Creek Nursery in Denton, NC Ornamental Characteristics Category Herbaceous Perennial Foliage Type Semi-evergreen Height 1' Spread 1' - 2' Shape Clump-forming Primary Foliage Color Chartreuse Seasonal Foliage Color Chartreuse Flowering Season Summer Flower Color White Environmental Characteristics Growth Rate Moderate Sun Preferences Sun to Partial Shade Water Preferences Average: Ensure planting area provides adequate drainage.
