Here we have a well played 1957 000-18, with hardshell case. Aftermarket passive undersaddle pickup was installed, aswell as a heel strap button and Grover Deluxe tuners. We`re selling this guitar for a customer of ours. Local pickup is preferred since transport companies will only insure up to $5000 Canadian. The guitar is strung with 010-046 strings, sounds absolutely gorgeous. string height at 12th fret; see photos, the neck is surprisingly straight; at the 7th fret in d standard tuning with 010's she`s at 0.005 inch neck relief. at some point this guitar got refinished, the bridge has been reglued and it looks like she`s had a neck reset. None of the usual cracks due to dryness or shrinking of the pickguard, some fretwear and wear of the fingerboard (as pictured). A very dynamic and responsive guitar that has aged very very well!
