Jason's Cashmere Hat Knitting Class

When: 3 Saturdays in July, 7/11, 7/18, 7/25 7/11: 3-4pm 7/18: 3-5pm 7/25: 3-4pm Instructor: Andy Mordoh Fee: $50 Learn how to knit cables and create a beautiful, warm hat for the fall! This class covers cabling, cabling without a special tool, how to read a cable chart, and hat construction. Who is this class for? Adventurous beginners and beyond are welcome. You should be comfortable with basic knit and purl stitches, basic increases and decreases, cast-on, and bind-off. Materials Yarn: 200 yards of Aran/Worsted weight yarn. Sample was knit in Juniper Moon Farm Moonshine Needles: 4mm/US 6 size 16" circular needle, 5mm/US 8 size 16" circular needle, 5mm/US 8 DPNs for decreases Notions: a large locking stitch marker, stitch markers, darning needle Pattern: the pattern will be provided by the instructor ****Studetns receive a 10% discount on supplies purchased at The Knitting Tree, L.A.
