Veronica Piecework Pillow - Venetian Backdrop, Silk Velvet and Lurex

Our Veronica Pillow is a piecework composition drawing from fragments of cotton with embroidery salvaged from an antique Venetian stage backdrop, hand-dyed silk velvet, and hand-dyed cottons, grounded in dead-stock linens with bits of a more complex linen weave. Highlights of a vintage Indian woven silk with lurex thread catch the light, bringing a quiet glamour to the whole. - 22" x 21" - Linen on the reverse - Feather and down insert - Knife-edge finish - Concealed zipper - Reference number: P-1244 Flaws in vintage and antique fabrics are valued and appreciated.
