The guard hairs are quite long and emerge from the trap margin in various directions along the plane of the trap. This produces an interesting cross-cross pattern. Trap tends to be square shaped. It is incredibly weird. This is an unofficial cultivar developed by Colin Clayton in Australia. Plants are shipped bare-root, wrapped in damp sphagnum moss. In it's dormant season, it will be shipped as a dormant corm. Photographs are representative of the cultivar, and not the specific plant shipped.
