20s Vintage Flat Mesh Purse Antique Handbag Silvery Metal Ball Fringed VFG

A lovely 1920s to 1930s vintage handbag, ready for its next outing! This one is flat mesh, meaing small interlocking flat discs - they have great shimmer! The metal frame is engraved in a tiny floral pattern, and closes with a kiss clasp. Instead of the more common dainty fringe at the bottom, the purse has ball fringe. SIZE: Measurements Inches Cm Width 6" 15.2 Height 7" 17.75 Length of chain strap 15" 38 MATERIALS/COLORS: The purse is German silver, aka Nickel Silver, which is a copper/nickel alloy. TAGS: Embossed with G. Silver on inside of both sides of the frame. CONDITION: No holes, mesh looks intact even at the hinges, all the fronge balls are there. The dark patina can be shined up the new owner if desired.
