Sonny Criss – Sonny’s Dream (Birth of the New Cool)

William “Sonny” Criss was an American jazz musician, an alto saxophonist of prominence during the bebop era of jazz.While influened by Charlie Parker, he developed his own sound, drenched in the blues, as his ability on the instrument continued to develop. Sonny’s Dream (Birth of the New Cool) is an album recorded in 1968.
