Blue Moose, Mid Blooming Honeyberry (Haskap)
Of Russian decent, Blue Moose is prized for it’s heavy production of big, chewy berries with excellent, sweet flavor. Growth habit is upright and very vigorous usually to about 5 feet tall and 5 feet wide with dense branching structure. Each plant can produce about 8-12 pounds of fruit. Cold hardy to USDA zone 2. Not self-fertile – must plant with a different variety of Honeyberry with similar bloom time for cross-pollination and fruit production.
