2024 - MARCEL RICHAUD - Cotes du Rhone Rouge "Terre d’Aigles", Rhone Valley

Marcel Richaud is a well known Southern Rhone producer that farms biodynamically and makes wine with little intervention. This Cotes du Rhone is from Marcel's closest vineyards to the River banks, planted on soil with a high percentage of pebbles. It's a blend of Grenache, Syrah, Carignan, Mourvedre and Counoise. An appealing nose of black cherries and plums underlined with lots of spice, a touch of garrigue (thyme, rosemary, oregano) and dried violets. It's a delicious red, with an incredible freshness. Highly recommended!
