Vintage Chanel Camelia Clip On Earrings | Pink Enamel | CC Logo | 2003 Cruise Collection

These are authentic Chanel camelia earrings from the 2003 Cruise collection, designed under the direction of Karl Lagerfeld. The camélia, was Gabrielle Chanel's own emblem, adopted by her in the early twentieth century and used across the house ever since. It remains one of the most collected of all Chanel motifs. Each earring is built from layered silver-tone petals filled with enamel in graduating tones of pink and coral, so the flower shifts in colour from the outer petals inward. At the centre sits a domed pink enamel bud stamped with the interlocking CC. The reverse carries the oval Chanel plaque marked 03 C and Made in France, and the clip fittings are finished with clear comfort pads.
