Consultation includes: Consultation Ocular Health Test for Ortho-K suitability only Important Note: This offering does not cover Ortho-K Lens Trial Fitting and Ortho-K lenses (priced separately). Consultation fees are strictly non-refundable and non-exchangeable for other products or services, regardless of your suitability for Ortho-K. However, consultation fees can be used to offset your Ortho-K lens package if you are suitable and you decide to proceed with treatment. You will be advised on the cost of your Ortho-K lens package. Prices start from $2000 & above, depending on the complexity of the case. Customised Ortho-K lenses take around 2 to 4 weeks to arrive. We'll ensure proper fitting during your next visit, guiding you on proper lens usage and care. Regular after-care visits are required. Before Your Appointment 1) Bring along your current eyeglasses or eye health documents (if any) 2) Think of any questions you might have for our optometrist. You may want to ask about whether Ortho-K will be suitable for your lifestyle or professional needs, or how to use Ortho-K lenses safely on a daily basis. 3) Be well-rested before your appointment. During the Appointment: 1) Understanding Your Needs: Our optometrist will engage you in a questionnaire to understand your vision history, your professional and lifestyle needs, before recommending suitable vision solutions for your condition. 2) Ocular Eye Health Test: Your eye health will be assessed through a series of tests which include: objective refraction, subjective refraction, slit lamp bio microscopy, keratometry and corneal topography. You will also be tested for UV damage, dry eyes and visual acuity. 3) Ortho-K Suitability: Based on the questionnaire and eye health test, our optometrist will advise whether you are a suitable candidate for long-term Ortho-K Usage. We will advise you on the costs of your Ortho-K package, depending on the complexity of the case. Note: Contact lenses in general are considered as 'medical devices' in Singapore and have to be fitted and dispensed by a qualified Eye Care Professional with the Singapore Optometrists and Opticians Board (OOB). Ortho-K lenses are not suitable for everyone, especially for those with high myopia / astigmatism or pre-existing eye conditions. It also takes discipline, patience and hygiene compliance.
