Complete the abrasive sharpening sequence with the SHARPAL RES-6000 Resin-Bonded Diamond Plate. The 6000 grit surface is designed as a final polishing step after the RES-3000 plate or another suitable fine abrasive. It further reduces the remaining scratch pattern and helps produce a highly refined, polished edge. Diamond abrasive is distributed throughout the resin-bonded layer for consistent abrasive exposure, smooth feedback, and long-lasting finishing performance. The low-loading surface is especially useful for polishing hard and high-carbide knife steels. The 1" × 6" beveled-end metal-backed format fits the SHARPAL Universal Abrasive Plate Holder and other compatible holders. Designed for dry use. A small amount of water may be added when preferred. Use light pressure to avoid unnecessary material removal during final polishing.
