Reader 5 reinforces the skills already learned. It contains interesting stories geared to the development of individual curiosity and independent skills. It can be used either as a supplementary reader for the above-average Grade 3 student or as an introductory reader for Grade 4. The workbook broadens the vocabulary by introducing the diminutive forms of nouns and the comparative form of adjectives.
