Attributes: Profuse, pendulous, white flowers in spring. The plant gets totally covered in flowers. Nice, dark grey bark with age, small foliage, fine twigs and short internodes. Yellow Autumn color. Notes: Formosan Styrax is an excellent species for bonsai that has been underutilized. It boasts ample, small flowers, ramifies well and has small leaves. I have given this batch of trees a cutback recently in order to expose their inner structures and prepare them for shipping, so they look pretty sparce. Rest assured that that they are highly vigorous and healthy. Uses: Small size bonsai.
