Ken No Sen (Attacking) is the most obvious method, Tai No Sen (Waiting for the Initiative) is invented for very opportunistic actions, Tai Tai No Sen (Accompanying and Forestalling) the idea of circumventing an ambush or quick attack. The Five Rings - Earth, Water, Fire, Wind and NoMind - might appear at first as practical sword treaty, but at a closer look they are an amazing philosophical work one that still applies to everyday life. Our new GO RIN NO SHO Kimonos series takes inspiration from this amazing martial art work, and will be translating its philosophy into weaved cotton with every new GI release. Rooted in the element of “KA” aka Fire, this GI’s custom unbleached colorway gives it a truly stand-out look. The jacket is crafted from a comfortable 380gsm Unbleached Pearl Weave fabric, and it’s paired with 10oz Brushed Cotton Twill pants designed for both competition and everyday training. Inside the Gi, the collar features an original sublimated artwork rendered in our unmistakable Half Sumo Irezumi style. A large, soft screen print embellishes the inner jacket—designed to gently fade over time, giving the kimono a rich, vintage character as it ages. The exterior is finished with high-definition patches, embroideries, and prints that add depth and authenticity to the garment. We have also included a unique high quality Gi bag. This bag is fully machine washable so you can just throw it in the wash along with the GI. The GI fits like a modern tapered GI - It is pre-shrunk, but please allow for an additional 4% to 8% natural fabric shrinkage after the first few washes.
