Ecumaster Toyota 2JZ / 1JZ VVTi EMU Black Plug-and-Play ECU Kit The Ecumaster 2JZ / 1JZ VVTi EMU Black Plug-and-Play ECU Kit is designed to make standalone ECU installation easier for Toyota and Lexus VVTi JZ engine applications. For years, VVTi 2JZ plug-and-play support has been requested, and this kit provides a clean solution for customers using VVTi JZ engines, especially in engine swap applications. As non-VVTi engines become harder to find, this adaptor allows you to take advantage of the benefits of VVTi while running the powerful Ecumaster EMU Black standalone ECU. This kit includes the Ecumaster EMU Black ECU and a dedicated JZ VVTi plug-and-play adaptor. It supports the factory drive-by-wire throttle, factory camshaft and crankshaft sensors, factory coolant temperature sensor, throttle body, and more. The factory mass airflow sensor is no longer required, and an intake air temperature sensor should be added. Ideal for Engine Swaps Primarily aimed at customers swapping VVTi JZ engines into other chassis. Factory DBW Throttle Support Supports the factory drive-by-wire throttle system. Factory Sensor Support Supports factory camshaft and crankshaft sensors, coolant temperature sensor, throttle body, and other key engine sensors. MAF Sensor Removed The factory mass airflow sensor is no longer needed when using this setup. IAT Sensor Recommended An intake air temperature sensor should be added for correct standalone ECU operation. Important Compatibility Notes This adaptor does not support the Toyota BEAN network, which is used for gauge cluster and HVAC functions in models such as the IS300 and GS300. For this reason, the adaptor is primarily suited to VVTi JZ engine swaps into other chassis. Support is not included for the stock sequential turbo system. If you wish to retain OEM twin turbos, they will need to be converted to true twin operation.
