APRYLIC Brain Health and Function Support Supplement for Dogs and Cats is a unique feed supplement containing medium-chain triglycerides (MCT). It can be used as part of a multimodal approach to support brain health & function. Glucose is the primary and preferred energy source used by the brain but in epilepsy and cognitive dysfunction, glucose metabolism in the brain can become impaired. In these conditions, therefore, the brain can benefit from an alternative energy source. This is where MCT's come in, as part of a multimodal approach. Composition: 100% medium-chain triglycerides (~60% caprylic acid C8:0 and 40% capric acid C10:0) Feeding instructions: 2.5 ml per 10 kg of body weight twice a day.
