The Tamar River has some spectacular diving, but please remember visibility is typically poor and you will require a torch as it is a Sunset Dive. A DSMB are also recommended. This dive site has a range of depths. Dive to your certification. When: Friday 16th August 2026 Dive Location: Paterson Monument, Macquarie Street, George Town. Time: 1:50pm for a 2:10pm briefing. The plan is to be in the water by 2.30pm Please remember that diving in the Tamar is tide-dependent and we will not be hanging around for latecomers. Any certified divers are welcome to join us.
