Antique Bronze Guardian Lions or Foo Dogs - A Pair

A pair of antique guardian lions or foo dogs in cast bronze. They have aged beautifully, accruing a rich patina with some verdigris oxidation. We particularly love the careful, detailed line-work of the manes and tails, and of the very expressive faces. These guardian lions were made some time between the Late 19th Century and Early 20th Century. Dimensions: 7.25 in. width 11 in. depth 15.5 in. height Condition notes: In overall fair condition with expected wear consistent with the statues' age and use. Areas of visible oxidation and aging to metal.
