This modern V3.0 board is the official replacement for all previous versions (E1 to E4) and features a built-in 12VDC transformer, eliminating the need for the external transformer used on older E2-E3 models. Replacing an 'E1' Board: If upgrading a Classic model from before 2003 (or S/N 03363999), you MUST also order a new Thermocouple (100831) and Battery Cable (100720). Nidec Hatch Motor: If your toilet has a Nidec hatch motor AND you are replacing an E5 v1.5-1.10 board (from S/N Comfort CF05E5 1917 412117 or Classic CL05E5 1921 205613), you MUST also order a Nidec Motor Cable (101462).
