Description The Rab Men's Firewall Guide Waterproof Pants are robust, fully waterproof shell pants designed for demanding mountaineering, climbing, and expedition use. Built for prolonged exposure to sleet, snow, and heavy rain, they combine durable 3-layer Pertex® Shield protection with an articulated construction designed for unrestricted movement on steep and rugged terrain. The 40D Pertex® Shield 3-layer fabric provides a 20,000mm hydrostatic head and 20,000g/m²/24hr breathability, while the fluorocarbon-free DWR finish helps shed surface moisture. Reinforced hems and dedicated crampon patches provide added durability when moving through technical terrain, while articulated knees allow a natural range of movement. Full-length two-way side zips with internal storm guards make the pants easy to pull on over boots and other layers, while also providing adjustable ventilation.
