Extreme Wide Angles: Purpose-built to clear the field of view on ultra-wide prime lenses (like 8mm, 10mm, or 12mm cine lenses) without intruding on the frame. Large Cine Zooms: Frequently paired with long, heavy zoom lenses (such as the Angenieux Optimo 24-290mm) where standard rod-mounted matte boxes may be too cumbersome or heavy.
