Description Measurements One of the most iconic vintage glasses frame created in the 1960's we have Pierre Cardin Kiss C-18 sunset vintage sunglasses, sometimes known as "lips" due to the shape. We have called this one Sunset as it is fitted with pink to pale blue graduated sun lenses, which provide 100% UV protection. The demi brown mottled acetate has a polished finish. Five charnier hinges add strength to the frame, and further demonstrates the excellent manufacturing techniques that created this frame. The Pierre Cardin fashion house was founded in 1950, and was well known for space age, avant-garde designs. This is not just a frame, this is history. This frame is slightly cheaper than other colours as despite being new unused vintage stock the metal inside the arm has oxidised, creating some discolouration to the metal inner. This in no way detracts from a rare and unique pair of sunglasses. All spectacles supplied with a brand new spectacle case and a Retro Spectacle microfibre cleaning cloth.
