Metallic Plastisol Ink lays down a brilliant, reflective metallic finish in gold, silver, copper and black — 12 shades of smooth, high-shine metal. Built on our low-cure performance chemistry, it cures cool at 290–310°F, stays super-stretch and bleed-resistant, and holds its shine on polyester, spandex and performance blends. What it prints on 100% polyester — jerseys, performance tees, athletic wear Spandex & performance blends — the super-stretch film moves with the fabric Poly blends & sublimated garments — prone to dye migration — the bleed blocker holds color back Printing & curing Mesh: 86–156 to carry the metallic flake and keep the shine Squeegee: 65, 75 or 80 durometer — or a 70/90/70 triple durometer Flash: 240–260°F between colors Cure: curing is a time-and-temperature process — bring the full ink film to 290–310°F (143–154°C); the low cure is what keeps polyester dyes from bleeding; confirm with a temp gun or donut probe, not dryer air temp Recommended companion products Nylon Bond 289 Additive — mix into this ink to bond prints to nylon and other slick synthetics (catalyst; stir in a small amount, limited pot life, always test first). For an exact, verified match, our UMX® system mixes to your target. Safety, PPE & storage Wear nitrile gloves and safety glasses; avoid prolonged skin contact with uncured ink. Print with adequate ventilation; vent your dryer. Always stir before use. Storage & shelf life: keep sealed, out of sun. Shelf life 1–2 years. As an all-polyester low-cure ink, store at 60–80°F. In high heat expect container expansion — open carefully. Do not freeze. Refer to the Safety Data Sheet before use.
