The Shimano Talica 2-Speed Overhead Reel features a one-piece, cold-forged and machined aluminium frame with cutting-edge corrosion protection. Shimano then added a lightweight cold-forged aluminium spool, a waterproof Cross Carbon Drag System, and six S-ARB bearings for super-slick operation. The use of HEG in both high and low speeds sets Shimano Talica apart from any other reel, providing incredible cranking power. Infinity Drive: A drag design that increases drag force whilst reducing side load pressure. X Protect: Provides water resistance inside the bearing of the drive gear shaft. Hagane Body: Built from high-rigidity aluminium/magnesium. This creates stiffness and impact resistance, while at the same time eliminating flexing of the body.
