Early Victorian Pair of Silver Plated Entree Dishes.

Pair of early Victorian, crested, silver plate on copper entree dishes. The dishes and covers feature gadrooned borders and are crested with an outreaching hand and forearm , with the motto "DROIT ET LOYAL". The detachable loop handles are leaf capped , with leaf bases and slightly differing. In good order with a light amount of copper bleed. Surface wear is commensurate with age. Higher wear and scratches to the undersides of the dishes. Appproximate weight of both is 3.6 kilos. Approximate dimensions of one are 28 cm length by 20 cm width and 12.5 cm height.
