French Modernist Wood and Glass Table Lamp

A sculptural table lamp in stained oak, its base formed from two turned spheres separated by a clear glass disc, its edge showing the soft green cast typical of the period, rising to a wide conical shade in ivory sateen.A stacked, totemic silhouette in keeping with the vocabulary of French modernist lighting design. The wood has been gently restored and the lamp rewired throughout with a new brass E27 fitting, twisted fabric flex, EU plug and switch.
