With a generous 9-gallon (32-liter) capacity, allowing ample room for healthy root development. Handcrafted from natural terracotta, each piece carries the warmth and character of traditional pottery-making. The clay's porous nature promotes breathability, supporting optimal plant health and moisture regulation. The Dark Slate finish is a multihued, and multi-textured dark finish. Applied over the natural terracotta surface by hand, layer by layer. The base coat is a semi-transparent dark-ebony varnish with a slight gloss finish. A mixture of earthen-powder is combined with variations of gray-ash to smoke paint colors. The artisan process creates a thick textured layer above the ebony layer. Once cured the end result is a finish that covers the entire pot. Like moss and oxidation that covers the surface of an old pot exposed to the elements; this artisan crafted pattern is an authentic blend of random and organic.
