Hidden Falls necklace

The Hidden Falls necklace is handmade with graduated mother of pearl elongated teardrops, antique brass cable chain, black and brass textured beads, and an antique brass toggle clasp. Approximately 20" in length. I designed this necklace with the Grand Tetons Hidden Falls waterfall in mind... While it wasn’t the most beautiful waterfall we’d ever seen, or the biggest, it was such an unexpected sight on one of the most beautiful hikes we’ve ever taken. We were camped about 10 miles from Grand Teton Nation park with gorgeous views of the Tetons to the west and had already spent several days exploring. We hadn't really researched much, but we knew we wanted to hike to Inspiration Point. We wanted to take the long way, so we hiked around Jenny Lake and joined the trailhead just past the ferry dock. We could hear the waterfall before we could see it. The sound of rushing water echoed through the canyon until the trees opened up and the falls roared up ahead. But standing there on that wooden bridge, with the Tetons peeking through the trees, the cool air coming off the water, and a moose wandering in the distance, everyone instinctively stopped hiking and stood still, taking it all in. The interesting thing is, the waterfall wasn't even why we were there. We had set out to hike to Inspiration Point. The Falls was simply something we discovered along the way. And somehow, that's the part of the day I remember most.
