Buža olive oil – native Istrian variety, 500 ml

Buža — also spelled Buza — is an indigenous Istrian variety. It does not grow anywhere else with this distribution and is considered in Croatia to be the variety that defines the peninsula’s flavour. This oil comes from a single Buža field on the estate. It begins with a distinct bitterness, develops into a balanced pungency, and ends with a surprisingly long, fruity finish that lingers after swallowing. It is the most distinctive of our four oils and the one in which you can most clearly sense that you are drinking oil from a specific place, not from a tank.
