Lidocaine 23% + Tetracaine 7% +Sheabutter 10% in Plasticized Base

A high-strength, anhydrous compounded topical anesthetic formulated to provide temporary, localized numbness before clinician-directed superficial skin procedures. Lidocaine 23%, an amide-type local anesthetic, and tetracaine 7%, an ester-type local anesthetic, work together to reduce sensory nerve conduction at the application site. Shea butter 10% provides emollient skin conditioning and improves the feel and spreadability of the preparation, while the plasticized polyethylene–mineral oil base provides a smooth, water-free topical vehicle. In naturopathic, functional, integrative, dermatologic, and aesthetic practices, this preparation may be prescribed to improve patient comfort before selected needle-based, microneedling, laser/light, cosmetic, or other superficial skin procedures performed within the practitioner’s authorized scope.
