Rainbow Randing Basket with Mary Price

Wednesday, January 20, 2027 10:00 AM – 4:30 PM Diameter: 7″, Height: 4″ Prerequisites: Students should be comfortable with flat reed baskets and 3 Rod Wale. This colorful basket introduces several engaging weaving techniques. Students will work with a wood base and practice the following skills: • Start-stop weaving • 4 Rod Wale • French Randing in rainbow colors • Finishing with a traditional lashed rim Materials supplied: Wood base, natural and dyed reed. Tools needed: Sharp scissors to cut through reed, packer & straight tip weaverite tools, small clips for weaving rows, and larger clips for rims.
