Custom TK2 Style Football Helmet 1964 Houston Oilers Charlie Hennigan Painted!

TK-2 style Football Helmet customized with thin mil decals and striping of the 1964 Houston Oilers, and customized to represent the helmet worn during that year by All-Time great and fan favorite Charlie Hennigan. See photos which are not part of the purchase but are for reference only. Helmet is a custom one of a kind collectible and comes with the correct size and font #87 appropriately applied to the rear of the helmet. Center stripe five-stripe pattern is as the Oilers wore for two years, and is created by first covering the middle 3 inches of the white shell and then painting the rest of the helmet Columbia Blue, then adding the sides stripes! That’s right! The white center is painted, not vinyl. The Oilers were notorious for changing helmet decor almost annually. Helmet also has 2-bar BD-9 style facemask appropriately positioned as shown in photos for Hennigan during his career. PLEASE NOTE: WE ARE NOT CLAIMING THIS HELMET WAS ISSUED OR USED BY MR.
