The RPB PX5® Pre-Filter is a genuine replacement component designed for use with the RPB PX5 Powered Air-Purifying Respirator system. Installed over a compatible PX5 filter or cartridge, the pre-filter helps reduce the amount of surface contamination reaching the main filter. Regular replacement can help support airflow management and extend the service life of the primary filter or cartridge. The pre-filter can be fitted to the PX5 high-efficiency filter or a compatible gas cartridge, either before or after the main filter is installed into the PAPR unit. Its simple tab-mounted design allows quick installation and replacement during routine respirator inspection and maintenance. Pre-filters should be inspected regularly and replaced whenever they become dirty, damaged or blocked. GVS also recommends frequent replacement to help extend the life of the main filter. Supplied as a pack of 10 replacement pre-filters.
