Gichathaini – Coffee Collective

A washed Kenyan coffee from the Gichathaini factory in Nyeri, roasted in Copenhagen by Coffee Collective. Acidic and fresh, with notes of gooseberry, rhubarb, and sea buckthorn. Sold in a 250 g bag. Gichathaini is one of three washing stations in the Gikanda Farmers Cooperative Society, with around 1,850 smallholder members delivering cherry, and it is the classic Kenyan profile: sharp, clean, and structured rather than sweet and heavy.
