2026 Punt Road Pinot Noir Rosé

The 2026 growing sea son was defined by low yields, small berries and a late harvest. A cool, wet spring delayed and disrupted fruit set, resulting in smaller bunches across the vineyard. A dry, mild summer followed, allowing the fruit to ripen slowly and evenly, around four weeks later than 2025. The combination of low yields and extended ripening has produced wines with concentration, natural acidity and clear varietal expression. Sourced entirely from our Napoleone Vineyard in Coldstream, this rosé was made from mature MV6 Pinot Noir vines. The fruit was gently pressed, then transferred to seasoned 500L French oak puncheons for wild fermentation. The barrels were kept in a temperature-controlled room, allowing a slow, steady ferment to preserve the wine’s delicate aromatics.
