It's a Walk in the Park Block Builder

Block Builder patterns are two sided sheets designed to introduce you to a cute scrappy block and then give you a fun quilt layout design to inspire real life use. Block Builders assume you know popular quilting skills such as half square triangle creation, stitch and flip, and accurate(ish) 1/4" seam allowance, as well as pressing knowledge if you are not an open presser. If half square triangles are involved, an accordion map will be included so that the Accordion Sewn HSTs™ can be used if you like. You may recognize this block as the basis for the It's a Walk in the Park Zoom Mystery several years ago. Variety in value from the outer portion of the petals to the center is simple to achieve and leads to that cute little violet "face" we all love. Once all your pieces are ready for block layout, you even get two different options for sewing it together, and a delightful 50" square quilt layout design to get your creative side all hopped up.
