The Kuala Lipis 65% dark chocolate bar is made from cacao grown in the fertile Kuala Lipis in Pahang, Malaysia. Nestled along a pass and embraced by the surrounding slopes of Mount Benom, the cacao trees thrive amidst a regular mountain breeze that descends gently from the cool summits of Mount Benom. The trees are sheltered by coconut palms. Once harvested, Mr. Mahason ferments the cacao beans in a sun facing valley, a process that can occasionally last as briefly as four days. This leads to the development of a chocolate flavor profile characterized by gentle acidity. The distinctive taste of Kuala Lipis origin is preserved in this exceptional bar, where tradition and quality come together to create a truly unforgettable chocolate experience.
