A beautiful, elegant wine More Info Tasting Notes: This Rioja Blanco Reserva has great intensity of fruit married beautifully with oak notes giving a wine with citrus fruit, hazelnut and pistachio with some sweet spice. It is very intense and concentrated with linear acidity and a long finish. Alcoholic fermentation starts in stainless steel tanks, giving us complete control of the temperature and other technical aspects. When the alcoholic fermentation has almost finished, the wine-must is racked into French oak barrels where alcoholic fermentation is completed It is aged for 12 months on its suspended fine lees, giving it a glycerine texture and sweetness. Lightly toasted barrels from different cooperages are used for this wine, giving greater complexity and elegance to the final blend. Bodegas Palacio, which is based in Laguardia in the heart of Rioja Alavesa, was founded in 1894 by Don Cosme Palacio.
