Whisky Talk September: The Different Cask Types

September's Whisky Talk will be a focus on cask types, this is a great opportunity for those newer to whisky to become acquainted with some of the different cask and wood types often used in the maturation of whisky, and what influence they can have on the flavour of the spirit. We'll cover classic ex-bourbon barrel and ex-sherry cask maturation, and explore some less-common casks and cask-finishes.Whether you're a beginner or have a bit of whisky experience under your belt, we do hope you'll join us for an evening of good company and spirits.
