High Grade Seraphinite 8cm Slab with Feather Chatoyancy - Siberia

This high-grade semi-polished Seraphinite slab has strong silver-green feather-like chatoyancy across a deep green clinochlore base, with radiating crystal patterns that flash as the piece moves in the light. Seraphinite is the trade name given to this distinctive chatoyant variety of clinochlore. While clinochlore occurs in a number of locations, the highly patterned material Seraphinite is known for comes from a limited area of eastern Siberia. Higher-grade pieces with deep green colour and strong, clearly defined silver feathering are hard to obtain and more desirable than paler or less reflective material. Display stand included.
