Eocene Side Table

The Eocene Collection brings together 50-million-year-old Green River fossils and sand-cast aluminum, creating objects that sit between natural history and contemporary design. Each fossil is carefully preserved, its delicate structure protected while still inviting a sense of touch and closeness. Set within raw, stone-like cast metal, the work recalls the geometry of excavated rock and the process of uncovering something long hidden. Between the faceted aluminum forms, two sculpted fish move through the table’s base, echoing the life once held in stone. The piece becomes both furniture and artifact — a living object shaped by time, and material.
