Product Overview This Non-MDS Lifters Kit with Camshaft and Head Gasket is designed for listed 2009–2010 Dodge Ram 2500/3500 and 2011–2016 Ram 2500/3500 trucks equipped with the 5.7L V8 HEMI engine and a Non-MDS valvetrain configuration. It is intended for upper-engine service where the camshaft, lifters, and cylinder-head sealing components are being replaced during the same repair. The camshaft controls valve opening and closing, while the lifters follow the camshaft lobes to transfer valve motion through the valvetrain. When camshaft lobes or lifters show confirmed wear, they should be serviced together. The included head gasket component supports cylinder-head reassembly when the heads are removed as part of the repair. This kit is designed for Non-MDS applications and should not be used to represent an MDS-retaining valvetrain repair.
