The shell is water-repellent and windproof, not fully waterproof. In sustained rain wear a waterproof shell over the top. How warm is it? A mid-weight softie layer. Warm enough on its own for stops and static work in dry cold, and the ideal layer under a Gore-Tex shell when it turns wet. Which size should I order? Order your normal jacket size.
