Gonadorelin

Gonadorelin is a synthetic decapeptide corresponding to gonadotropin-releasing hormone I (GnRH I), also known as luteinizing hormone-releasing hormone (LHRH). Its defined ten-residue sequence makes it a reference material for controlled studies of GnRH receptor biology and neuroendocrine signaling.In laboratory systems, Gonadorelin functions as an agonist at the GnRH1 receptor, a Gq/G11-coupled GPCR.
